Description
While driving through the beautiful hills and valleys of Orange County, I came across Montpelier and even more than the fact that it was the home of James Madison, it was a huge farm with a large herd of horses. The barn and farm is home to many famous Thoroughbred Racing Horse's who have been rescued by the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation (TRF) at Montpelier, found in 2003, as safe haven for retired race horses.The Big Green Barn is one of many on the Montpelier Farm.
