Who Care

THERE GOETH I.
There goeth I except by the GRACE OF GOD! Yes, I was raised in a Christian Home, and every Sunday morning it was up early, put on my Sunday best. Which usualy meant
the pair of jeans I had not torn a hole in playing in the Dirt. Then we started walking and sometime one of the church members would pick us up and give us a ride to the little white Church By The Road. Why did I tell you this true story about my childhood,,,,,to make a point. You see, what I did in just a short period of time writing...was to paint a picture with words. Now someone with more talent than I, could take these few words and Paint a picture of a Mama, a little Girl and little Boy.
Just like this story, my goal is to search for an image and Photograph it so that it tells a story. Do I acomplish that goal, not always, but it keeps me searching. It is during those searches that some of my Photograph are taken. Sometime when I pull off the HiWay to shoot an old rusted Tractor, and as I stand there looking through the Lens at that 'ol Tractor I am reminded of my teen years following behind that ol' John Deer picking up Hay Bales! NOW! What I just gave you was several "Pictures". of my youth.
So, when I am out riding or walking I am looking for an image, a Photograph that tells a story or maybe an image that will reminde you of a Car or Truck you and your dad rode in your younger years. (I do hope you enjoyed my little true story. While you reminence .. take a break and check out my Photographs and let me know if you found a story.

Out House

Out House

Is this a photograph/digital art image an Out Hous? Well, I'm not sure! But I am sure of one thing. I've never forgotten those cold, snowy mornings,a walk down the path to the old two seater we had outback. Those mornings when you would wait to the very last moment to go... knowing that no matter how long you waited it was still going to be a cold, cold snowy morning.

It is those memories that take me back more than sixty plus years to a different time. A time when we knew all our neighbors and were not afraid to leave the doors unlocked. A time when our mom's were not afraid to let us kids play outside after dark.

A time when wagons and bikes and kites were what kept us occupied and and out of trouble. A time when "I'm Gonna Teach You A Lesson" meant... go get a small branch from the Willow Tree out front! And lest we forget a dime Coke and a nickle candy bar!

The Digital Art image was taken in the mountains of West Virginia. On a cold snowy morning. What are your childhood memories! How many remember the ten cen Coke,a five cent candy bar, black and white television or other special memories.I would love to hear them!

Thanks,

Bob Mullins
